Meet the Owner: Why I Started Lenz Cleaning

When people invite someone into their home or business, they're placing a great deal of trust in that company. I believe you should know who's behind Lenz Cleaning and why this business means so much to me.

I served in the United States Army Infantry from 1997 to 2003. Following the events of September 11, 2001, I continued serving until an injury changed the course of my life. During my service, I fell from an armored personnel carrier, sustaining injuries that would continue to affect me long after my military career ended.

I completed my service with an Honorable Discharge, but over the years those injuries worsened. Eventually, they led to a hip replacement and permanent disability. Like many veterans, I had to rethink what the next chapter of my life would look like.

Rather than letting those challenges define me, I chose to build something meaningful.

By setting aside a portion of my monthly Veteran disability benefits over time, I was able to save enough to start Lenz Cleaning. It wasn't built with investors or big financial backing. It was built through patience, discipline, and a commitment to creating something I could be proud of.

The Army Never Really Leaves You

The military taught me lessons that still guide this company every day.

In the Infantry, details matter.

Preparation matters.

Accountability matters.

Leadership matters.

Those same principles are the foundation of how we operate at Lenz Cleaning.

Whether we're cleaning a family home, preparing an Airbnb for its next guests, or maintaining a commercial facility, we believe every job deserves the same level of care and attention to detail.

One lesson I learned in the Army is that no one succeeds alone.

I know my strengths, and I also know the importance of surrounding myself with talented people.

That's why I focus on building a team of experienced, motivated professionals who share our commitment to quality and customer service.

Beyond being a veteran, I'm also a father and grandfather.
